Just some girl fun!!

I went to visit some of my sweet friends over the weekend and we had such a good time. Friday evening after baths and some dancing to movie tunes, my friends youngest daughter pulled out some of her dress up hats. How fun to play with little ones. Tess loved her big pink hat and I thought I was quite striking in my "little house on the prairie" hat. This was about the 3rd or 4th take and by that time my friend's littlest person had abandoned her hat. I'm surprised Tess kept hers on for as long as she did.

My friend has a dog named Sydney and it took Tess a little while to warm up to her but after a few licks on the face (by the dog, not Tess) Tess did fine around her. She even fed her some treats and checked out her kennel.
What a fun few days hanging with the girls! I love you both and I'm so glad that I FINALLY live close enough to spend some time with you!

Dancing to some Broadway Tunes

This morning I had the Today show on and the performers from the Broadway Show "Shrek the Musical" came on to do one of their numbers. Tess loved it!! She would watch the TV and then try and imitate the motions. I love the "squat" move and then the splits ~ not sure what that was but it was cute! This little girl makes me and her dad just smile!
