I thought it was fitting to honor those women in my family who are moms, those women who have in someway shaped how I view motherhood. I pray that these women will know how much I respect, honor, look up to, and how grateful I am to have them in my life. From each one of these precious ladies I have seen at least one quality in their mothering that I would like to emulate...
CREATIVITY = My sister in law Tami I could tell you all about how she creates fun projects for her children or how she thinks of creative ways to celebrate holidays but it would take to long and you can see for yourself on her blog..
muddlinthrumotherhood!
ORGANIZATION = My sister in law CaraCara has two boys and keeps her home well run. You always know where to find something in her pantry because it is all labeled....I love it! She also can tackle a painting project in just a few days most of the time
by herself (she usually does it when her husband is out of town :) )
ENDURANCE = My sister SuzanneSuzanne has five children...enough said. I love my big sis and her endurance & patience shows up in the lives of her children. They are intelligent, outgoing, well mannered & just all around good kids. (And no I'm not just saying that because they are my nephews &
niece !)

GENTLENESS = My sister in law TracyTracy's word are gentle & kind...her gentle spirit is one that overflows from her love of her God!
SIMPLICITY = Brent's grandmother Clara (or as she is known by us
MaMa)
MaMa has always lived a simple life, even in her thinking (which is a good thing). You love God, take care of your family, and don't fuss over a bunch of stuff.
FUN = My mother in law BrendaAs long as I have known Brenda and from what my husband tells me from his childhood, this woman likes to have fun!! She likes to go hiking, visit new and different places, likes to play games and in general is not afraid to have a good time and laugh a lot!

...and last but not least
FAITHFUL = My mom Marian (yes we share the same name)
She is faithful to her God, her husband, her family & her friends. She exudes Christ likeness and has taught me so many things about being a mom. I could go on and on about her but I already dedicated a whole post to her so if you would like to see how great my mom is feel free to go
here and read about her!!

Thank you ladies for being an influence in my life. You may not have even known it but I wanted you to know that I love you and am thankful for you!
And a note to those in my family who have yet to become mothers...I honor you and pray for you that God will grant you the desire of heart in His due time! His ways are far above ours so trust His timing!!
HAPPY MOM'S DAY
