Our family has been supporters of The Voice of the Martyrs for a few years now. We have had, on two occasions, the privilege of hearing the Gills speak about their involvement in this organization. I will never think the same about the persecuted church. I was challenged more than ever to pray for our brothers and sisters in chains. I want to teach my children that there are Christians all over the world who meet under tremendous persecution...yet they still meet - still proclaim the name of Christ when it could literally cost them their lives. We American Christians know nothing of that kind of persecution. I want them to visible help these Christians so we ordered Action Packs from VOM, a simple way to show our love to others. You order vacuum sealed bags, fill them with the items from a pre-approved list and then mail them back to Voice of the Martyrs and they distribute them around the world - simple as that.
