I went to bed last night feeling yucky. I woke up this morning feeling even yuckier. My husband was also feeling under the weather this morning so we all stayed home, celebrating the Resurrection in our pjs. Who says you have to get all dolled up to take joy in our risen Savior! We read Tess the resurrection story from our favorite Bible story book, THE JESUS STORYBOOK BIBLE (which I highly recommend for little people) We worshiped together as a family despite us not doing the "typical" Easter Sunday activities. No pictures in our duds, no egg hunts, no huge dinner. We did enjoyed the good gifts that God has given us...like chocolate bunnies and Cadbury Creme Eggs...all the while thanking the Giver for those gifts and for his greatest gift to us, His son. After the pictures is a video of Tess proclaiming (without any prompting from me) the reason for this day. Her own little words sharing from her own little heart.
